Crockett High School Band

Welcome to Crockett High School band, an award-winning band. From their beginnings in 1968, the Crockett band was a first rate band. In their first University Interscholastic League (U.I.L.) competition, they received a first division rating in marching, concert, and sight-reading. They then were selected, along with four other Texas bands, to play at the 1969 New Year's Cotton Bowl half-time finale with the Texas Longhorn Band. The Cougar band has performed in Washington D.C., Chicago, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, California, Tennessee and abroad in England, the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Crockett Band members can look back on the heritage of their organization with pride, and look forward to the future accomplishments of which they will be a part.
